Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer, this full-time remote position will manage the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's on-premise SIEM platform and IDS/IPS, ensuring effective threat detection and response capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the on-premise SIEM platform, including log ingestion, correlation rules, and alerting
• Maintain and tune IDS/IPS platforms to ensure accurate detection and prevention of malicious activity
• Align SIEM and IDS/IPS solutions with security governance frameworks and support incident response activities

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with SIEM and IDS/IPS administration
• Strong understanding of security governance frameworks and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in developing detection rules and correlation logic
• Experience in incident response and event analysis
• Ability to evaluate emerging threats and recommend enhancements to security monitoring capabilities
