Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Managing the day-to-day security operational availability and sustainability of a 24x7x365 infrastructure, the full-time remote Senior Information Security Engineer will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data while configuring and supporting security systems and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Make recommendations for enhancements to security hardware and software, and assist in their evaluation and implementation
• Perform risk analysis and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate security policies through monitoring and support of security systems
• Facilitate penetration testing, audit participation, and manage relationships with third-party security providers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Security certification such as CISSP, CCSE, AWS, or GIAC
• 6+ years of information security experience, including project management and security concepts for technology systems
• Deep knowledge of network security technologies, including Check Point firewalls and IDS/IPS
• Experience with AWS cloud security and cloud-native security tools
