Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Information Security Engineer will assess operational processes, perform engineering support, and provide security recommendations to mitigate risks associated with new applications and products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering support and advanced troubleshooting with stakeholders and customers
• Assess potential risks and provide security requirements and recommendations for new applications and products
• Consult as a security subject matter expert, recommending new information security systems and controls to mitigate emerging threats

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 6 years of experience in information security or 4 years with a Master's degree
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to persuade stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills for building partnerships with stakeholders and peers
• Commitment to effective communication methods to ensure critical information is conveyed
