Senior Information System Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update security authorization packages in compliance with FISMA
• Validate protective measures for physical security and maintain an inventory of hardware and software
• Coordinate with the Cybersecurity Unit to achieve and maintain compliance and authorization to operate (ATO)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 10 years of general experience and 8 years of relevant experience as an ISSO or Security Controls Analyst
• Familiarity with NIST RMF, FISMA requirements, and security testing and evaluation
• Understanding of Cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure, and FedRAMP
• Thorough understanding of FISMA and the Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) process
