Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and building automation solutions, the contract Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer will work remotely to create automation frameworks, develop deployment tools, and optimize infrastructure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design automation frameworks and reusable infrastructure patterns using Terraform
• Architect and deploy scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure while developing automation tools and scripts
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide technical guidance on automation best practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of AWS cloud infrastructure experience
• Expert-level skills in Terraform, including modules and state management
• Strong Python scripting ability, with Bash and PowerShell as a plus
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Proven ability to design scalable automation solutions from scratch
