Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the end-to-end automation for the EDA compute farm, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer will design configuration schemas, build deployment pipelines, and eliminate configuration drift while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage the configuration schema for LSF cell deployment to ensure consistent policy application
- Build and maintain the deployment pipeline for scheduler configuration from merge to production across a federated estate
- Develop tools to eliminate configuration drift and establish a regression suite for scheduled LSF upgrades
Required qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 6+ years in infrastructure engineering with strong configuration management experience using tools like Ansible, Salt, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience with GitOps practices at scale, including drift detection and safe rollback
- Proficiency in Go, Python, and shell scripting
- Experience automating stateful, long-lived infrastructure
