Senior Infrastructure Capacity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Infrastructure Capacity Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and model current and projected infrastructure usage across compute, storage, and network systems
• Monitor real-time capacity and performance metrics to proactively identify risks or inefficiencies
• Partner with engineering and product teams to understand upcoming feature demands and assess infrastructure impact

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience in capacity engineering, site reliability engineering, infrastructure operations, or similar
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data center environments
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for automation and data analysis
