Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer, the successful candidate will focus on mainframe operations, ensuring system reliability and performance while acting as a liaison between application teams and managed service providers in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily health, stability, and performance of mainframe systems and tools
• Manage service requests and incidents, providing troubleshooting and coordination with service providers
• Support mainframe application upgrades and modernization efforts, ensuring minimal risk and downtime

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 6-9 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services
• Strong knowledge of mainframe tools such as ESP Scheduler, Endevor, and DB2
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes in large-scale environments
• Familiarity with web services and real-time mainframe integrations
