Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Building and operating the platform that powers consumer tax products and AI-driven personal finance tools, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will scale databases, automate deployments, and ensure high availability during peak tax season while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and scale GKE clusters with autoscaling tied to load metrics
• Manage database infrastructure to support high traffic during tax season
• Implement observability and security measures across the platform

Required qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with GCP GKE, AlloyDB/CloudSQL, Redis, and Pub/Sub
• Strong Terraform skills in module development and infrastructure-as-code
• Kubernetes proficiency in cluster management and autoscaling
• Experience with database operations at scale, particularly PostgreSQL/AlloyDB
• High-traffic web application experience, including handling seasonal traffic spikes
