Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

To support the technology department, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will develop internal tools, automate infrastructure processes, and serve as a liaison between development and operations teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation for infrastructure management using AWS services and various programming languages
• Identify weaknesses in current tooling and design solutions to enhance website performance and availability
• Create documentation for proposed solutions and coordinate the introduction of new processes into the production environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
• 5 years of progressive experience with cloud computing on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• 3 years of experience in Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Proficiency in programming with Python and Go, along with experience in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Helm
• Experience with supporting application infrastructure, including Kafka, Zookeeper, and Postgres
