Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will operate and optimize Snowflake and AWS environments, implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, and enhance security and compliance measures in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and optimize Snowflake, monitoring warehouse consumption and addressing query-performance issues
- Build and manage AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure as code via Terraform and GitOps
- Drive infrastructure optimization for performance, scalability, and cost while maintaining compliance and security standards
Required qualifications
- Hands-on Snowflake experience in a production environment, including SQL and warehouse operations
- Proficiency in building and operating AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on security and cost management
- Experience with infrastructure as code, particularly using Terraform
- Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes technologies
- Strong scripting and automation skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
