Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on optimizing technology infrastructure, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will design, document, and maintain IT systems, ensuring security and efficiency in both Public and Private Cloud environments while collaborating with Operations and Security teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in strategic planning for systems and storage infrastructure, including capacity planning and task automation
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis of infrastructure systems and provide feedback on system design and implementation
- Manage and maintain both Public and Private (Hybrid) infrastructure, ensuring Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a systems engineering role
- Experience with VMware technologies (vSphere / ESXi) and enterprise storage technologies (SAN, FC, ZFS)
- Hands-on experience with Public cloud implementation and administration
- Automation experience with common automation/orchestration tools
