Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
As a technical leader on the Platform Engineering team, the full-time remote Senior Infrastructure Engineer will architect, scale, and fortify global cloud infrastructure for high-throughput payments applications, focusing on building automated resiliency and driving modern SRE practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize multi-region, high-availability AWS infrastructure, transitioning to standardized, code-managed environments
- Implement self-healing, automated infrastructure using GitOps and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Develop end-to-end telemetry systems to enhance observability and manage incident responses effectively
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems within mission-critical environments
- Advanced proficiency in AWS ecosystems, particularly with Terraform
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and GitOps workflows
- Proficient in automation and scripting using Python, Go, or Bash
- Deep experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
