Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

As a key contributor on the Platform Engineering team, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will build, scale, and fortify global cloud infrastructure for mission-critical payments applications, ensuring high availability and reliability in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-availability AWS infrastructure, contributing to a standardized, globally scalable fleet managed through code
• Implement automated infrastructure solutions using GitOps, modern CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to reduce manual toil
• Configure and maintain telemetry tooling to monitor performance, participate in incident response, and lead blameless post-mortems

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with complex, large-scale distributed systems in mission-critical environments
• Proficiency in AWS ecosystems and Terraform for building reproducible environments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and GitOps workflows
• Proficient coding/scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for infrastructure automation
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
