Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
As a key technical practitioner on the Platform Engineering team, the remote contract Sr. Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps) will take ownership of the cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, and internal developer platforms, focusing on building and optimizing high-availability AWS infrastructure for mission-critical payment applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build self-healing, immutable platform foundations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for AWS
- Modernize and scale CI/CD pipelines, creating self-service platforms that enable rapid and safe code deployment
- Implement GitOps methodologies to automate infrastructure management and enhance system resiliency
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure roles
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and GitOps deployment workflows
- Proven track record in building and optimizing automated CI/CD pipelines
- Strong coding/scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash
- Hands-on experience with telemetry and monitoring stacks such as Prometheus and Grafana
