Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the cloud security posture and incident response strategies, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer will lead security monitoring, manage cloud security across AWS and Azure, and oversee perimeter security in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and operation of the SIEM platform, ensuring effective security monitoring and alert response
• Manage cloud security posture and vulnerability management across AWS and Azure, partnering with DevOps and engineering teams
• Define and implement cloud security standards and governance documentation to maintain compliance and security across the platform estate

Required qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of infrastructure security or detection engineering experience, with a focus on SIEM implementation and operation
• Hands-on experience with cloud security in AWS and/or Azure, including IAM policy management and cloud-native security tools
• Demonstrated incident response experience, including forensic preservation and playbook development
• Operational experience with WAF, including rule development and bot control configuration
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for security operations automation
