Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter - Inland Marine.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a profitable Inland Marine portfolio, targeting $2-3M in annual new business and scaling to $10M in total written premium
• Underwrite various Inland Marine classes, ensuring compliance with underwriting appetite and guidelines
• Develop strong broker relationships and monitor book performance metrics to adjust strategy as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Inland Marine underwriting experience
• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent industry experience will be considered
• Expertise in coverage analysis, pricing, and risk selection for Inland Marine products
• Strong analytical skills for assessing complex exposures
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
