Senior Insider Threat Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance insider threat detection capabilities, the full-time Senior Insider Threat Analyst will design, operationalize, and refine detection logic while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and refine insider threat detection logic to improve alert fidelity and reduce false positives
• Lead the triage and investigation of insider threat alerts, ensuring a continuous feedback loop for detection improvements
• Develop and implement a scalable detection strategy aligned with key insider threat risks and identify new use cases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field with a focus on insider threat detection methodologies
• Strong experience with DLP, UEBA, or related telemetry for investigating insider risk activity
• Proven ability to design and operationalize detection logic to improve alert quality
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate investigation outcomes into detection improvements
