Senior Insider Threat Investigator

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Insider Threat Investigator, this full-time remote position will manage insider risk by conducting investigations, identifying detection patterns, and collaborating with security teams to mitigate threats to information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end insider threat investigations, including detection, triage, and resolution
• Collaborate with Security Incident Response and Cyber Incident Management teams to address enterprise threats
• Develop and implement processes and controls to mitigate insider risk and enhance detection capabilities

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in insider threat investigations, counterintelligence, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Law, or a related discipline
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms and UEBA tools, including query construction and behavioral analytics interpretation
• Working knowledge of DLP tools, endpoint detection, and digital forensics
• Familiarity with insider threat frameworks and threat assessment principles
