Senior Instructional Designer

Job Summary

To support the mission of saving lives and preventing injuries, the full-time remote Senior Instructional Designer will shape the design, development, and delivery of training by establishing instructional design standards, improving learning effectiveness, and collaborating across teams to create engaging learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement instructional design standards and best practices across the training portfolio
• Design learning experiences that translate complex content into engaging training, ensuring measurable learning outcomes
• Lead the development of high-quality learning products, streamlining workflows and collaborating with subject matter experts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning, Educational Technology, or a related field
• 5-7+ years of experience designing and developing learning solutions across various modalities
• Experience in ambiguous environments, creating structure and standards from scratch
• Proven expertise in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design practices
