Senior Instructional Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Instructional Designer will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of operational documentation and learning resources while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Leading the creation and enhancement of standard operating procedures, process documentation, and instructional materials
• Analyzing complex business processes and translating them into user-centered documentation by partnering with stakeholders and SMEs
• Managing multiple documentation projects simultaneously while mentoring team members on documentation standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technical Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, technical writing, or operational documentation in complex environments
• Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
• Exceptional technical writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, concise documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
