Senior Instructional Designer

Job Summary

To support the development of high-quality learning assets, the remote Senior Instructional Systems Designer will lead the analysis, design, and delivery of interactive training materials while collaborating with project teams and leveraging innovative tools and methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design, and development of learning assets using the ADDIE model and adult learning theory
• Incorporate experiential learning principles to create immersive training experiences, including simulations and interactive stories
• Collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to ensure timely delivery of instructional design projects while adhering to quality standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a senior instructional systems designer
• Proficiency in authoring tools such as Lectora, Adobe Captivate, or Articulate Storyline
• Strong understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements for instructional content
• Preferred active WAU public trust clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain necessary clearance
