Job Summary
To support the development of a new manufacturing workforce, the temporary Senior Instructional Designer will create foundational training architecture, design a four-module onboarding curriculum, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts while working remotely, preferably from Seattle or Spokane.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to transform technical knowledge into structured training programs
- Design and develop a four-module Minimum Viable Product onboarding curriculum focused on Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, and Lean Manufacturing
- Establish standardized curriculum templates and support the integration of training content with the organization's Learning Management System
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in curriculum development within manufacturing or skilled trades training environments
- Expertise in Articulate Storyline, Learning Management Systems, and multimedia creation tools
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Deep understanding of adult learning theories and experience designing blended learning solutions
- Exceptional communication skills for crafting compelling messaging for diverse audiences
