Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Insurance Accountant to perform professional accounting functions in accordance with GAAP and SAP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aid in planning and building statutory quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Track and manage U.S. Finance related regulatory fees and filings
  • Oversee month-end financial processes and supervise accounting staff
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Five years of insurance accounting experience
  • Five years of Health Insurance Accounting experience, preferably in Medicare Advantage or Medicaid
  • Statutory regulatory accounting experience is highly preferred
