Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Insurance Accountant to perform professional accounting functions in accordance with GAAP and SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in planning and building statutory quarterly and annual financial statements
- Track and manage U.S. Finance related regulatory fees and filings
- Oversee month-end financial processes and supervise accounting staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Five years of insurance accounting experience
- Five years of Health Insurance Accounting experience, preferably in Medicare Advantage or Medicaid
- Statutory regulatory accounting experience is highly preferred
