Senior Insurance Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Insurance Product Counsel who can provide legal and compliance counsel for insurance products and assist in the development of new products.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze facts, apply laws and regulations to support company directors and associates
• Provide legal and compliance counsel for current and new insurance products
• Review, revise, and draft contracts, policies, and training materials

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Law
• Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal advisory role within the insurance industry
• Strong understanding of legal principles and life/health insurance products
• Proficiency in interpreting policy contract language and regulations
