Senior Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Leading integration design and development, the full-time Senior Integration Engineer will work remotely to create scalable interfaces between SmarterDx and healthcare systems, ensuring robust interoperability and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and validation of interfaces between SmarterDx and hospital EHRs
• Serve as the technical expert in customer engagements, guiding architecture discussions with IT leaders
• Own the entire integration process, including specification development, testing strategy, and production stabilization

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with HL7v2 interfaces in hospital settings, including EHR-specific message structures
• Advanced knowledge of interface engine architecture and operations best practices
• Exceptional communication skills to influence senior health system leaders
• Proven expertise in scalable database extraction architecture and FHIR R4 APIs/resources
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or Python for message transformation and SQL fluency for data validation
