Senior Integration Engineer

Job Summary

To lead 24x7 production operations and API modernization efforts, the remote Senior Integration Engineer will manage CBS applications, re-engineer APIs to Java microservices, and coordinate technical delivery across various task areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 on-call production support for CBS applications, responding to incidents and restoring service promptly
• Deliver modernization work packages by re-engineering APIs and producing necessary documentation and deployment-ready packages
• Coordinate technical delivery sequencing, risk identification, and serve as the primary technical point of contact across all CAS task areas

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in designing and sustaining enterprise Java/Spring Boot REST APIs and middleware integrations
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes container platforms
• Experience with 24x7 production operations and incident management for mission-critical applications
• Familiarity with federal IT security compliance, including FISMA and ATO sustainment
• Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) required
