Senior Integration Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and development of scalable integrations, the full-time remote Senior Integration Engineer will partner with health system IT leaders to create secure and reliable interfaces between SmarterDx and hospital EHRs, while also managing end-to-end integration processes and ensuring interoperability compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and validation of interfaces between SmarterDx and hospital EHRs
- Serve as the technical expert in customer engagements, guiding architecture discussions with health system leaders
- Own integrations end to end, from specification development to production stabilization and incident response
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience building and supporting HL7v2 interfaces in hospital settings
- Advanced knowledge of interface engine architecture and operations
- Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior health system leaders
- Proven expertise in scalable database extraction architecture and FHIR R4 APIs/resources
- Hands-on experience with programming languages like JavaScript or Python for workflow automation
