Job Summary
Supporting the legal team in a hybrid role, the full-time Senior Intellectual Property Specialist will streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and manage the company's intellectual property portfolio while providing legal support through drafting agreements, managing litigation, and advising on regulatory matters.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements while providing legal guidance and support for compliance and litigation matters
- Drive improvements in legal operations by optimizing workflows, tools, and templates, and implementing legal technology solutions
- Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and IP filings, while coordinating with outside counsel and supporting innovation programs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of intellectual property law through coursework or practical experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to legal operations, legal technology tools, or process improvement initiatives
- Experience with trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, or patent processes is preferred
