Senior Internal Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Internal Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute multiple concurrent audits and projects based on the annual Internal Audit workplan
• Prepare concise audit reports summarizing scope, objectives, observations, and recommendations
• Monitor and validate completion of management action plans (MAPs) with audit clients

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in internal auditing or related fields
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations, accounting, and finance
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, including GAAP and IIA standards
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Finance or Accounting
• Certifications such as CIA, CHIAP, or CPA preferred; willingness to obtain HFMA CRCR within 18 months
