Senior Internal Auditor

Job Summary

To support the Internal Audit function, the full-time Senior Internal Auditor will scope and plan audits, assess compliance with regulations, and collaborate with teams to track audit issues, with the option to work remotely from the United States or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and assessing risks, contributing to the annual audit plan development
• Scope and plan multiple audits across Mercury's products and operations
• Conduct process walkthroughs and execute audit testing to evaluate internal controls' effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Experience in scoping and planning complex audits
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and coach team members
• Familiarity with financial services regulations and risk management standards
• Experience auditing BSA/AML/Sanctions compliance and payments
• Strong understanding of complex business processes
