Senior Inventory Accountant

Job Summary

Senior Inventory Accountant, this full-time position involves providing critical analysis related to inventory and product margin reporting while supporting the Inventory Accounting team in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end summaries of inventory balances and cost of goods sold (COGS) activity
• Support month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Analyze perpetual inventory records and collaborate with operations to address discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
• Minimum of three years of experience in inventory accounting or three to five years in general accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros
• Experience with Oracle ERP and knowledge of SQL is a plus
