Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Investigative Researcher will utilize advanced research techniques to identify, analyze, and document information supporting fraud detection and investigation efforts across insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research using subscription databases, public records, and online sources to support fraud investigations
- Analyze insurance applications, claims, and other transactions to identify potential fraud indicators
- Prepare clear, accurate, and objective reports summarizing research findings and investigative results
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice preferred; high school diploma required
- 3+ years of experience with customer contact in a high-volume service environment
- 2+ years of experience in a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) or equivalent insurance-related investigative role
- Experience conducting online research using public records, subscription databases, and social media platforms
- Knowledge of insurance operations, including claims, underwriting, and fraud detection activities
