Senior Investment Analyst

Job Summary

To shape investment strategy and asset allocation for Lumen's pension plan and 401(k) savings plan, the hybrid Senior Investment Analyst will conduct capital markets analysis, perform quantitative and qualitative research, and evaluate external investment managers, requiring one day per week in the Denver office.

Key responsibilities

• Help shape investment strategy and asset allocation for defined benefit pension and 401(k) target date funds
• Analyze capital markets and asset class behavior to inform portfolio construction decisions
• Conduct market research leveraging artificial intelligence to generate insights for investment decisions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• 3-10 years of investment experience in institutional investing, asset management, or investment consulting
• CFA designation or interest in obtaining
• Familiarity with AI and eagerness to integrate it into the investment process
• Proficiency with investment analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, Morningstar, eVestment)
