Senior iOS Engineer

Job Summary

Leading major mobile workstreams, the full-time Senior iOS Engineer will shape the technical direction for the Neighborhoods team, focusing on integrating mobile experiences across Cash App and Square while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cross-team architecture and execution to deliver seamless integration of Neighborhoods features in Cash App and Square
• Stay hands-on in iOS development using SwiftUI and related technologies, ensuring reliable and scalable mobile experiences
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product managers and designers to define product scope and technical tradeoffs

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in iOS engineering design and implementation, with proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
• Experience leading iOS architecture with unidirectional data flow and scalable mobile patterns
• Proven ability to manage medium-to-large mobile initiatives that cross team boundaries
• Strong track record of shaping team mission and mentoring engineers
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in enhancing engineering processes
