Senior iOS Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of the native iOS Bitwarden application, the full-time Senior iOS Engineer will build and maintain features, lead architectural discussions, and mentor other engineers while working remotely from the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Become an expert in the iOS codebase and implement complex initiatives while coordinating with other teams
• Lead architectural discussions, propose solutions to technical problems, and provide comprehensive code reviews
• Mentor engineers, contribute to hiring processes, and advocate for best practices in performance and maintainability

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in developing complex iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Strong understanding of iOS UI/UX design and architecture principles
• Familiarity with unit testing, UI testing, and snapshot testing
• Experience mentoring engineers and conducting technical interviews
• Ability to work independently on ambiguous requirements and collaborate effectively across functions
