Senior iOS Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the video playback experience for millions of users, the full-time Senior iOS Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain a robust iOS Video Player SDK while collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the iOS Video Player SDK using Swift and Apple media frameworks
• Lead the development of scalable architecture for cross-platform video playback solutions
• Diagnose and resolve complex playback issues to improve performance and reliability

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in iOS development with proficiency in Swift and Apple frameworks (AVFoundation, AVPlayer)
• Hands-on expertise with HLS streaming, DRM (FairPlay), and video playback optimization
• Solid understanding of streaming protocols and playback performance debugging
• Experience in building scalable systems and contributing to shared SDKs
• Familiarity with analytics and QoE metrics is a plus
