Senior IT Asset Management Analyst

Job Summary

To support the IT Asset Management (ITAM) Program, the remote Senior IT Asset Management Analyst will manage advanced data analysis and governance of Shadow IT, focusing on identifying and mitigating risks associated with unauthorized technology usage while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis to identify and monitor Shadow IT, developing insights and remediation strategies
• Support day-to-day governance operations, partnering with business units to resolve unauthorized technology usage and compliance issues
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to highlight Shadow IT trends and risk exposure, delivering actionable insights to leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling, or Reporting, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated IT Asset Management (ITAM) experience, including understanding of Shadow IT risks and governance practices
• Working knowledge of regulatory expectations and governance frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, and COBIT
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret large data sets to identify trends and risks
