Senior IT Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor, IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform IT walkthroughs and evaluate operational efficiency, providing recommendations for improvement
• Communicate effectively with clients and the audit team throughout the audit process, maintaining positive relationships
• Document audit findings and assist external auditors with statutory and regulatory audits

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, data analytics, business, or accounting, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk, or related control functions
• Certification such as CIA, CISA, or CISSP preferred, or working towards a professional designation
• Knowledge of IT General Controls, Cybersecurity, and experience with data analytics tools preferred
• Commitment to ongoing professional education, with a requirement of 40 hours annually
