Senior IT Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a federal organization, the remote Senior IT Cloud Engineer will lead enterprise endpoint engineering, cloud administration, device management, and security compliance initiatives across Windows and macOS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure workstation images for Windows and macOS platforms, including VDI and remote access environments
• Engineer and manage endpoint configurations, compliance policies, and device lifecycle operations utilizing Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, JAMF Pro, Ivanti, and KACE
• Implement and oversee enterprise patch management initiatives, including deployment orchestration, validation, remediation, and rollback procedures

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Endpoint Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
• 6+ years of experience performing engineering-focused responsibilities within large enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, JAMF Pro, Ivanti, and/or KACE
• Experience with endpoint security, patch management, passwordless authentication, SIEM/EDR integrations, compliance enforcement, and forensic collection processes
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered
