Senior IT Engineer
Job Summary
Leading complex IT and security projects, the full-time Senior IT Engineer will enhance security measures within the Microsoft 365 E5 environment, automate IT processes, and support a global workforce while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT and security projects, managing requirements, design, implementation, and documentation
- Design and implement security enhancements across the Microsoft 365 E5 stack, including automated response playbooks
- Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment and integrate business systems for improved data flow and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in IT engineering or systems administration, with 2+ years leading IT or security projects
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 E5, including Defender, Intune, and Entra ID
- Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Graph API, and Power Automate
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
