Senior IT Internal Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor (IT Focus) to manage internal audit assignments and evaluate risks within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform internal risk assessments and plan audits by understanding organizational objectives and identifying risk areas
• Evaluate IT infrastructure and internal controls, creating documentation and audit programs to assess compliance and efficiency
• Prepare and present audit reports, monitor remediation actions, and assist management in defining action plans for identified deficiencies

Required Qualifications

• Five (5) years of related work experience in IT auditing
• Two (2) years of experience in another functional area such as accounting or risk management preferred
• Experience with payment systems and financial services related to the credit/debit card industry preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field required
• Currently holds or is actively pursuing an audit professional certification such as CIA, CISSP, or CISA
