Senior IT Manager - Infrastructure

Job Summary

Leading the administration and operational stability of core infrastructure platforms, the remote Senior IT Manager - Infrastructure will manage teams supporting Windows, Linux, AIX, and enterprise storage while ensuring systems are secure, highly available, and compliant with business and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of infrastructure teams, ensuring high availability and reliability of services through proactive monitoring and incident management
• Supervise and develop system administrators and engineers, focusing on performance feedback, career development, and team planning
• Oversee lifecycle management for servers and storage platforms, maintaining operational readiness for backup and disaster recovery capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in applications development, analysis, or engineering, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience
• 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including administration or engineering across multiple enterprise server platforms
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience in a technical environment
• Demonstrated experience with Windows Server, Linux, AIX, enterprise storage, and backup platforms
• Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, platform hardening, and disaster recovery processes
