Senior IT Portfolio Manager
Job Summary
To support the Army Headquarters, the full-time Senior IT Portfolio Manager will manage a portfolio of approximately 100 IT systems, overseeing investment planning, budget alignment, and executive decision support, while requiring an active Secret clearance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee an enterprise IT portfolio, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and budget decisions
- Lead the development and coordination of Organization Execution Plans (OEPs) to support government budget certification activities
- Analyze portfolio data to identify opportunities for system modernization, consolidation, or retirement, providing actionable recommendations to leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT portfolio management or related fields within the Department of Defense
- Demonstrated experience managing a large enterprise portfolio of IT systems
- Experience with IT portfolio rationalization and investment analysis
- Active Secret Clearance required
