Senior IT Procurement Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior IT Procurement Manager to lead enterprise IT sourcing and software procurement in a full-time remote role, responsible for managing complex software renewals, strategic sourcing initiatives, and IT procurement governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the strategic supplier software renewal cycle, ensuring contracts are negotiated and implemented at the lowest total cost
• Partner with IT to establish a Software Steering Committee and develop preferred vendor strategies across software categories
• Mentor procurement team members in RFx creation, contract review, negotiations, and procurement best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in IT operations, with negotiation experience on large software renewals
• Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally to implement standard processes
• Excellent knowledge of computer systems, security, network administration, and IT infrastructure best practices
• Ability to analyze business requirements and develop solutions for IT needs
