Senior IT Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Directs discovery, execution, progress reporting, and post-completion audit reporting for medium- to large-scale IT projects
• Assists in establishing direction for the Project Management Office (PMO) by creating and maintaining practice guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures
• Mentors new employees within the PMO team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CIS/CS, Healthcare Informatics, or Health Information Management preferred
• Seven to ten years of relevant IS project management experience preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Specialized knowledge of project management best practices and related technologies
• Demonstrated leadership skills and sensitivity to organizational politics
