Senior IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

Managing advanced threat detection and response activities, the full-time Senior IT Security Analyst will protect enterprise systems and data while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security alert escalation and provide guidance for IT Security Analysts
• Monitor data activity, investigate alerts, and respond to security incidents involving sensitive data
• Develop and maintain runbooks for incident handling and collaborate with IT Security Engineers on security tools

Required qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience in IT Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, or related roles
• Certifications such as Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or other IT security certifications are highly desired
• Familiarity with risk assessment concepts and regulatory security requirements like SOX, GLBA, and CCPA
• Strong decision-making capabilities and ability to influence others effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative cloud-based programs
