Senior IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior IT Security Analyst will manage the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of the cybersecurity program, focusing on security operations, Microsoft 365 security, and incident response while collaborating with internal stakeholders to protect systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee security operations and incident response, ensuring effective monitoring and management of security threats
• Administer Microsoft 365 security and identity management, implementing data protection and AI governance measures
• Conduct vulnerability and risk management activities, ensuring compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive information security experience, preferably in financial services or the mortgage industry
• At least two cybersecurity certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Intune
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and experience conducting security investigations and incident response activities
