Senior IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance the Cybersecurity program, the full-time Senior IT Security Analyst will perform threat intelligence analysis, assist with incident response investigations, and ensure the security and compliance of information system assets in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure security controls are effectively deployed and aligned with organizational policies and standards
• Monitor and respond to security alerts while optimizing detection effectiveness and reducing false positives
• Lead the vulnerability management lifecycle, including conducting scans, analyzing results, and coordinating remediation efforts

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or 4-6 years of equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT Security, preferably in Azure cloud
• Certification in Information Security (e.g., GIAC - GSEC, Security+, CISSP, CompTIA CySA+ preferred)
• Strong experience in vulnerability management and automated scanning tools
• Familiarity with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and security frameworks
