Senior IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer, Threat Response.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and respond to security incidents
• Conduct advanced threat hunting activities to detect sophisticated threats
• Analyze security alerts and data sources to identify anomalies and potential threats

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of computers, operating systems, and networks in an enterprise setting
• Experience with security monitoring and analysis tools
• Knowledge of malware analysis, digital forensics, or reverse engineering is a plus
• Certifications such as GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) are considered an asset
• Proficiency in Jupyter Notebooks or willingness to learn is a plus
